Harry Styles performed Stevie Wonder's 'Isn't She Lovely' at Madison Square Garden on October 30. The performance occurred during the 29th night of his 30-show Together residency, where he opened dressed as Elvis Presley with his band and dancers as different versions of himself.

The first night of the Halloween shows saw Styles and his ensemble channel the King of Rock and Roll. Harry Styles channeled Elvis Presley for the first night of Harryween on his Together Together Tour. Styles paid homage to the late music icon. Earlier in the concert, Styles appeared in an Elvis Presley-inspired costume, wearing a white jumpsuit, cape and gold sunglasses. The Halloween shows are a fan-favourite tradition known for elaborate costumes.

X Factor throwback in the penultimate show

For the penultimate concert, Styles changed into the outfit he wore at his X Factor audition at age 16. Styles wore the outfit from his 2010 X Factor audition during the performance. He covered Stevie Wonder's 'Isn't She Lovely' while wearing the X Factor audition outfit, revisiting the beginning of his music career by dressing as his X Factor-era self. Harry Styles recreated his X Factor audition look at the Harryween show.

He told the crowd "I work in a bakery," a nod to his part-time job in Holmes Chapel. In 2022, footage revealed Styles opened his X Factor audition with Train's 'Hey Soul Sister'. Simon Cowell asked Styles to sing 'Isn't She Lovely' a cappella without a backing track. Styles was placed in One Direction with Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, Zayn Malik and the late Liam Payne.

Halloween tradition at MSG

Costumed covers have become a Harryween tradition, starting at MSG in 2021 when Styles dressed as Dorothy to sing 'Over the Rainbow'. Five years have passed since the last time Styles hosted Harryween in New York City. In 2021, Styles performed for two Halloween shows, emerging as Dorothy with his band dressed as Wizard of Oz characters. The second night that year featured Styles in an elaborate white ruffle clown costume with his band in colorful circus-ready looks, covering 'Toxic' by Britney Spears. The shows turned into a Halloween celebration for fans.

In 2022, Styles took Harryween to the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, performing Olivia Newton-John's 'Hopelessly Devoted To You' while dressed as Danny Zuko.

Tributes and new music

Earlier this month, Styles debuted 'What Is Enough', a song written for Liam Payne, at the same venue on the second anniversary of Payne's death. The Halloween performances came shortly after the Aperture hitmaker unveiled the music video for 'Coming Up Roses' on October 26. The first song Styles ever recorded was a cover of Elvis Presley's 'The Girl of My Best Friend'.

The residency concludes on October 31 at Madison Square Garden.
