Josh Homme's Paris Fashion Week Runway Debut Sparks Clothing Line
Queens of the Stone Age frontman Josh Homme walked for Ann Demeulemeester at Paris Fashion Week, an event that precedes the launch of his personal clothing line, Homme Construction.

Josh Homme walked the Ann Demeulemeester 'Lonesome Heaven' show during Paris Fashion Week 2027. The 53-year-old musician's runway debut, in a pinstripe suit, polka-dot neck scarf, and black flip-flops, drew comparisons to the character Derek Zoolander for its deadpan expression.
His appearance generated significant viral reaction. In a subsequent interview, Homme reflected on the experience. He enjoyed the collaborative atmosphere, describing the backstage environment as a talented beehive where everyone was nice. He did have one critique about the makeup, which he felt made his eyes look tired. Homme also made a self-deprecating remark, stating the experience was better than being a dumb fox, a reference to past company.
Launch of Homme Construction
The runway moment has directly preceded the announcement of Homme's own fashion venture. He is launching a clothing line called Homme Construction. It is scheduled to arrive at the end of this year or early next.
The line is a small, personal project consisting of only four or five items. It is largely inspired by his grandparents and things he knows, described as being just for fun. The collection will feature jackets and accessories drawn from his personal wardrobe and family history.
A specific influence is his grandfather Cap, who embroidered 'Homme' on clothing after World War II.
Creative Team and Design Influences
Homme is developing the line with a specific creative team. He is working alongside Emmy-winning costume designer Dayna Pink and collaborator Terry Anderson. His own background in sewing informs the project. He took home economics class at age 13 to learn the skill and later tailored clothes with his band Eagles of Death Metal.
Broader Career Context
This fashion expansion occurs alongside Homme's ongoing music career. The Grammy winner, who co-founded Kyuss as a teenager and fronts Queens of the Stone Age, has a new album forthcoming. The Queens' next record is titled Perfecth and is said to feature a vulnerable tone exploring heartbreak, change, and letting go.
The Ann Demeulemeester show itself had musical connections beyond Homme. Singer Chelsea Wolfe opened the show by performing an unreleased song titled 'Wandering,' and her track 'Whispers In The Echo Chamber' soundtracked the catwalk. Artist Ethel Cain also walked in the show. Designer Stefano Gallici found inspiration for his spring-summer 2027 collection along a Mojave Desert highway while listening to Kyuss's 1994 album Welcome to Sky Valley, an album Homme recorded at age 19.
Homme has faced significant personal challenges in recent years, including surviving cancer and undergoing emergency surgery. He was also involved in a contentious divorce and custody battle with Brody Dalle, which included mutual allegations of domestic abuse. He references a Winston Churchill quote about persevering through hell and plans to get it tattooed on the inside of his eyelids. Homme expresses a disdain for mob mentality and group thought, seeing his resistance as a lesson for his son. He accepts aging and states he will not alter his face. The first item from Homme Construction will be a jacket Josh Homme wore all last tour.
