Slipknot Announces 2027 Wembley Stadium Tour Opener
Slipknot will launch their biggest-ever global stadium tour at London's Wembley Stadium on July 3, 2027, with special guests Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore
Slipknot has announced their largest stadium tour to date for 2027, the (Sic)est Stadium Tour. The global run opens on July 3 at London's Wembley Stadium, which will be the band's only UK and European date that year.
General ticket sales begin on Friday, October 2, at 10 a.m. Local time. An artist presale starts earlier, on Tuesday, September 29, also at 10 a.m. Local time. The tour is produced by Live Nation.
Wembley opener with special guests
The historic Wembley Stadium show on Saturday, July 3, 2027, will feature a stacked lineup of special guests. Slipknot will be joined by Marilyn Manson, Lorna Shore, and Hatebreed for the concert. This marks Slipknot's biggest ever headline show on British soil.
Fans can join tour launch events in London and Los Angeles on September 28 between 5 and 9 p.m. Local time. The first 500 ticket purchasers at these events will receive a free event poster. A 30-foot flaming Slipknot Tribal S symbol will be featured at sunset during the launch events.
Supporting acts and tour scale
After the Wembley opener, the North American leg begins on July 16 at Nationals Park in Washington, D.C. Bring Me the Horizon will open all North American dates. A rotating cast of guest acts will join across the tour.
The North American run concludes on August 18 at Chase Field in Phoenix. Five South American performances in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, and Colombia will follow in September.
New music and album tease
The massive tour follows the surprise release of 'Arsenal,' Slipknot's first new song in three years. The track arrived earlier this month. It also marked the band's first recording since the departures of turntablist Sid Wilson and keyboardist-sampler Craig Jones.
Frontman Corey Taylor screams on the track, "I got a lot to f-ing say / And if you didn’t listen, you didn’t hear me anyway." However, guitarist Jim Root clarified one point. He said, "The single won’t appear on the band’s next album."
The band has been recording with Faith No More producer Matt Wallace. Cryptic posters in London and globally have hinted at a forthcoming album. Slipknot’s last full-length album remains 2022's The End, So Far, which debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The Wembley show will feature new music and span the influential nine-piece group's three-decade career.
