Hilary Duff has announced and released her new Holiday Things EP on October 23, featuring covers and original tracks. The singer-actress, 39, made her return to music this year after a decade-long break with the album 'Luck… or Something', which debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200. The five-track holiday collection includes three new original songs and two reimagined classics.

The EP's tracklist is a mix of fresh material and nostalgic nods. It features covers of George Michael's 1984 hit 'Last Christmas' and the standard 'Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas'. Duff's original songs are titled 'I Guess It’s Christmas', 'All You Want for Christmas Is Me', and 'I Want (A Few Small Things)'. This is not her first foray into holiday music; her 2002 debut album 'Santa Claus Lane' originally featured 'Last Christmas'. She teased the project on Instagram on October 21 with a post showing that debut album's cover. "I guess Christmas came early … Holiday Things is yours this Friday 10.23," Duff said.

2026 Jingle Ball Tour Announcement

Duff confirmed her participation in the 2026 iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour with nine North American stops in December. She will perform at select dates on the tour, including shows in Los Angeles, New York, Boston, and Nashville. The tour features a lineup of other major pop acts, including Olivia Rodrigo, Jonas Brothers, Sombr, and Raye. This holiday run follows her current sold-out Lucky Me Tour in Australia, which began at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on October 24.

Career Context and Recent Activity

Duff's musical comeback is in full swing. She recorded 'Luck… or Something' with her husband and collaborator Matthew Koma. The supporting Lucky Me Tour is currently underway and has been extended through most of 2027, with sold-out shows at major venues like New York's Madison Square Garden, Los Angeles' Kia Forum, and London's The O2. In recognition of this success, Duff is set to receive the Outstanding Pop Tour of the Year award at Billboard's Live Music Summit on November 10th. Her activity this month also included the release of 'CATastrophe' on The Cat in the Hat soundtrack. She closes out the year with her performance at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour in December.
