Bone Thugs-N-Harmony Members Address Tour Absences

Two members of Bone Thugs-N-Harmony have publicly addressed their absence from the group's current tour supporting the Wu-Tang Clan. Krayzie Bone explained Layzie Bone's exclusion stemmed from a personal agreement about rehabilitation, while Bizzy Bone stated he learned of the tour after contracts were finalized.

Layzie Bone Claims He Was 'Left In The Dark'

In an Instagram video over the weekend, Layzie Bone said he had been "left in the dark" regarding the tour. He paid respect to Wu-Tang Clan and promoter Live Nation before addressing fan criticism. He reported receiving direct messages from fans "cussing me out" and blaming him for not being on the road. "It was no call of mine for me not to be there," Layzie Bone stated. He acknowledged having "some issues with Bone Thugs-N-Harmony earlier this year" which led to him missing some shows. He said he believed those issues were resolved after the group received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in July. "It was another reason after another reason, which I’m going to let them answer," he concluded.

Krayzie Bone Cites Rehab Refusal

Krayzie Bone responded on Instagram, calling the matter personal but saying he was compelled to speak after Layzie Bone's post. He presented a different account. "We had an agreement with you." Krayzie Bone said. He asserted the group did not abandon Layzie Bone. "So no, we didn't just leave you out in the cold. We told you what it was."

Bizzy Bone Responds To Critics

Bizzy Bone addressed his own absence in a lengthy YouTube video. He claimed that by the time he heard about the Wu-Tang Clan tour, "everything was signed, sealed, and delivered." Despite not being part of the lineup, he said he is "still rooting them on" and encouraged fans to support the tour. He also responded directly to negative comments from a Facebook group. Bizzy Bone quoted one critic as saying, "I hope Bizzy Bone go broke, so he can come back, crawling on his hands and his knees." He dismissed the sentiment. "Hey, first and foremost, I ain't gonna never go broke. What is you talking about?" he said. He added that he continues to earn royalties. "I'm still getting money off the music that y'all listening to, whether you like me or not," Bizzy Bone stated. "You can fast-forward my part. I'm still getting the money, so it really don't matter."

History of Reduced Lineups

This is not the first time the group has performed without a full roster. According to the Stereogum report, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony performed a show in Plano, Texas in March with only Flesh-n-Bone and Wish Bone. The group was announced as support for Wu-Tang Clan's latest farewell tour last month, shortly after receiving their Hollywood Walk of Fame honor in July.
