LDB Fest 2027 announces smaller venue and hardcore lineup

LDB Fest 2027 is scheduled for February 12-13 at Louisville's Mellwood Art Center. The festival's lineup is packed with underground hardcore and metalcore acts, headlined by Haywire and Integrity, promising a concentrated two-day experience for fans.

Organizers Triple B Records and LBD 502 have assembled a broad roster. The bill includes notable reunions like Advent, a North Carolina band that returned after a 2011 breakup, and memorial performances from Harm's Way, honoring late guitarist Bo Lueders. Straight-edge bands XWeaponX and Inclination, which share members with Knocked Loose, are confirmed, alongside God's Hate and Criminal Instinct. The full lineup spans over thirty bands.

Additional acts include Prevention, En Love, No Idols, Bad Beat, Step 2 This, Si Dios Quiere, Scorched Earth Policy, Everybody Takes One, Fröthing Mad, Stakes Is High, WMD, Cause Of Pain, Self Interest, Sick Of Talk, Bloodshed, Basic Needs, Lethal Method, Dysform, Jump Ball, and Death Sin.

Smaller venue and shorter stage drive urgency

This year's event shifts to a more intimate setting. Organizers confirm the festival will use a smaller room with a shorter stage than in previous years, creating a scarcity of space. LDB Fest's bookers said, "next year's festival will go down in an even smaller room with a shorter stage," so tickets are likely to go quickly. The setup is described as the 'smallest stage ever' for the festival, which is returning to the Mellwood Arts Center but in a reduced format. Tickets are limited and single-day tickets will not be offered if the event sells out.

Ticket sale details and platform features

Tickets go on sale Friday, November 14th at 12PM EST. Sales will be conducted through a new ticketing platform that charges a flat $4 fee with no kickbacks or hidden charges. This simplified pricing aims to simplify the purchase process for attendees.

The festival's focus on underground hardcore contrasts with another major early-year event, FYA Fest. That festival is scheduled for January 9-10 at the Orlando Warehouse and features legends like Floorpunch, Poison The Well, and Earth Crisis, alongside newer acts including some also playing LDB Fest such as Harm's Way, God's Hate, and XWeaponX. Some FYA Fest headliners remain unannounced. LDB Fest 2027 will not feature the broader indie or emo-leaning headliners like Basement, Superheaven, or Saves The Day that appeared in recent editions.
